Multan Sultans' rising fast bowler Ihsanullah eyes the record of India's Umran Malik, who recently bowled his fastest delivery (157kmph) in T20 cricket.
Speaking on a YouTube channel, Ihsanullah, who made headlines during Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8 due to his pace, said he wants to bowl the fastest delivery.
"Alhumdulillah, I am satisfied with my performance so far," said the 20-year-old pacer.
"I have bowled at a speed of 155kmph. Now, I want to break the record of Umran Malik. He bowled at 157kmph. I will try to break his record and bowl at 160kmph," he added.
Ihsanullah is currently the leading wicket-taker in PSL 8. He has taken 12 wickets in five matches so far.
While talking about his performance, Ihsanullah said he wishes to finish as the leading wicket-taker of the tournament.
"So far, it has been a good tournament for me. I will try to maintain consistency and finish the tournament as highest wicket-taker," he mentioned.
PSL continues to highlight talented pacers of Pakistan. Ihsanullah is so far the pick of fast bowlers in the event.
"My favourite wickets were of Jason Roy and Babar Azam," said Ihsanullah who bagged big wickets so far.
The young fast bowler aims to get into the national side.
"Obviously, from here, I want to be in the national team. If I get a chance to play for Pakistan, I wish to take the wicket of Virat Kohli. It is my dream," he concluded.
Hailed from Swat, Ihsanullah has so far represented Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in seven first-class games, 11 list A and 13 T20 games.
